The Spa & Wellness Association of Singapore was founded in 2004 in response to the need of an association to provide framework for communication, networking and business opportunities to support business and skills development of the Beauty & Wellness Industry. For more than one decade, SWAS has worked in tandem to grow with the Industry.

Over the years, SWAS has grown from an interest group representing Spas & Wellness establishments to a confederation of trade groups representing stakeholders within the framework of the Beauty & Wellness Industry. The association actively promotes development of competencies, competitive advantage and business interests of all stakeholders in Spa, Wellness, Beauty, Hair, Nail and associated Holistic Care & Service industry.


Asia Pacific Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association was set up in 1991, with the main objective of strengthening and uniting hair and beauty practitioners in the Asia Pacific. As of to date, members of APHCA include Australia, Canada, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taipei, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America and Vietnam.


APHCA initiated the Asia Pacific Hair & Make-up Olympics in 1997. The event comprises of competitions, exhibitions, hair and makeup shows and educational seminars which are organised on a yearly basis and will rotate among its member countries. 


The purpose of the Asia Pacific Hair & Make-Up Olympics is to stimulate the cooperation and development among the hairdressing and cosmetology industry players with the aim to unite the industries in Asia Pacific region, uplifting them to a greater level.

School of Nail Art (SONA) is a Singapore based academy. Starting off the year of 2000 as a humble store dealing with nail and beauty services, retail and skill training. Students were instilled with the perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, right work attitude and ethics.

SONA evolved into a formal institution in 2006 and managed to create a significant status as a pioneer in the nail education platform.

SONA boasts a track record in producing many international nail competition winners. A dedicated and experienced team of elite local educators and a network of international nail masters from around the world are invited periodically for workshops to ensure students keep abreast with the latest technologies and fashion.

Association of International Beauty and Health Professionals (AIBP) is a specialized professional education institution. Since 2000, we have been dedicated to organizing comprehensive beauty contests/semi-permanent professional competitions and related beauty courses. With more than 10 years of beauty experience, we are established in terms of skills, management, surgical and educational systems.

Mission : 
Embracing globalization, we plan to develop skills and talents on scalp/skin/makeup/semi-permanent sectors in Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

With the association's diverse specialty and strong foundation, we aim to create a close-knit community within the industry, foster learning and develop outstanding beauty and health talents, create opportunities for overseas assignments and jobs, and invigorate the beauty economy.
